The Union, in a statement Wednesday night,  said that the directive to all workers in the maritime sector was hinged on the outcome of a meeting on Wednesday, 15th of November between the joint session of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Hon.
