The Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has constituted a National Joint Industrial Council (NJIC) committee to immediately address the issue of dockworkers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for 2023/2024.
At the meeting which held on Monday at the NIMASA headquarters office in Victoria Island Lagos, the President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Prince Adewale Adeyanju, thanked the NIMASA Director General, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, for the gesture.
The DG, who was represented by the Executive Director Maritime Labour and Cabotage Service in NIMASA, Mr. Jibril Abba, gave assurances that the Committee was expected to do a thorough work on the new CBA.
