The Secretary, Customs Consultative Committee (CCC), Fwdr. Eugene Nweke, Rff, has congratulated the former Area Controller of the TinCan Customs Command, on his promotion to the prestigious rank of Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) of the Nigeria Customs Service.
Nweke in a press statement, commended Onyeka’s promotion as well-deserved having offered years of sacrificial service to “our dear nation and humanity at large.”
He described Onyeka as one of the “finest and most refined Customs officers whose commitment to national service, institutional growth and stakeholder management has consistently distinguished him within the Customs ecosystem.”
Nweke added that Onyeka’s remarkable stewardship at the Nigeria Customs Service TinCan Island Port Command culminated in the historic generation of over ₦1.6 trillion revenue alongside notable anti-smuggling breakthroughs and impactful operational reforms.
