Comrade Bunu Abi receives MWUN-AMATO-NARTO Coalition on courtesy visit
The President -General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, recently received a collaboration of MWUN, Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO), and National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) executives who paid him a courtesy visit at the Union’s Secretariat in Osho Drive, Olodi, Apapa.
The visit was its first since Comrade Bunu Abi assumed leadership of the foremost Maritime Union in the country.
A statement by the Union said that the Executives of the Tripartite Haulage body used the occasion to congratulate the new President -General of MWUN on his election victory that ushered him to the top seat of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, and prayed that his tenure as PG of MWUN would be successful and peaceful in all areas of the Union’s operations across the country.
The Collaboration also highlighted on areas of challenges and prayed the President -General to lend his wealth of experience to the collaboration on all the areas of its Haulage operations across the nation’s seaports for effective, efficient and seamless operational outputs.
Comrade Bunu Abi, who is a trained Business Administrator, a seasoned Maritime Expert and Sailor, assured the collaboration of his timeless support and promised to strengthen the haulage body for a better performance.
He also thanked the Silos Executives, who were also part of the visit and promised the Silo Cargo Truck Owners of his maximum support in all their operations across the nation; while the visit was rounded up with exchange of pleasantries amongst the Tripartite Excos and National Executives of MWUN.
