NACOL enjoins Ajilete, Owode communities not to panic during students ‘OFO NWAGHA’ exercise

The Nigerian Army College of Logistics (NACOL) has announced the commence of its final outdoor exercise for students of Junior Leadership and Staff Officers Course (JLSOC) 1/2022.

A statement on Thursday by the College Public Relations Officer, Maj. George Okupe, said: “The exercise nicknamed OFO NWAGHA is designed to test the students’ leadership qualities, endurance, map reading, command and control capabilities among other military competences.

“The Exercise will commence on 19 to 24 November 2022 at the 81 Division Nigerian Army Training Area, Ajilete – Owode, Ogun State.”

The College, therefore, urged residents of the communities where the exercise would take place, to go about their daily activities without cause for fear.

“Consequently, communities living around Ajilete and Owode are not to panic on seeing mass movement of military personnel, vehicles and equipment within the general area from 18 to 25 November 2022.

“Furthermore, locals are advised to continue their normal daily businesses and report any breach of security to the nearest authority,” the statement reads in part.
