Bello-Koko receives appointment letter as new MD NPA
One week after President Muhammadu Buhari approved his appointment, the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Bello-Koko on Monday received his official letter of office.
He takes over from former Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman, who was suspended in May 2021.
In a statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations of the Ministry, Eric Ojiekwe, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Magdalene Ajani, on Monday handed over the official letter to Bello- Koko.
Bello was Executive Director, Finance and Administration, a position he held between 2015 and May, 2021, when he became Ag Managing Director and confirmed MD last week.
He was born on 25th March 1969 in Koko-Besse Local Government area of Kebbi State.
He obtained his SSCE certificate from the Federal Government College, Sokoto in 1986 and a degree in Management Studies from the University of Sokoto in 1992.
Mohammed Koko obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto in 1995.
