10 ships arrive at Lagos ports with petrol

Ten ships laden with petrol have arrive at the Lagos ports and waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) said on Tuesday in Lagos.

 

The NPA disclosed this through its daily ‘Shipping Position’ that is made available to newsmen in Lagos.
 
According to the NPA, an additional ship also arrived at the port with general cargo.
It also said that 29 ships were being expected at the Lagos ports with various cargoes from Feb. 9 to Feb. 25.
 
Fifteen of the expected ships are to sail into the ports with containers, while three others are expected with general cargo, the NPA said.
 
It said four other ships would bring in buckwheat, bulk salt and crude palmolein, while the remaining seven ships are expected at the ports with diesel, kerosene and petrol.
