Adeyanju receives honorary doctorate award from Ghanaian institute

President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, has received an honorary doctorate degree award from the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana.

Adeyanju received the award on Monday at the Union’s Secretariat in Lagos, with the Union’s districts and units’ officers in attendance.

Receiving the award, Adeyanju reiterated his commitment to ensuring improved workers welfare, just as he commended members of the Union across board.

Earlier in his speech, Dr. Richard Aquarte, the Executive Director, West African Region of the institute, said that Adeyanju’s recognition was informed by his achievement as a true union leader.
