Anishere conferred with “Yeye Ataiyese of Ibodi land”
Prominent maritime lawyer, Mrs. Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN, has been conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of “Yeye Ataiyese of Ibodi land,” Osun state.
The honour was done Mrs Anishere on 15 March 2025 by His Royal Majesty Oba Cornelius Omisade Agboluaje, Otemuyi 1, Oloja of Ibodi.
The Award certificate personally signed by the Oba, acknowledged Mrs. Anishere’s leadership quality, integrity, and as a woman of great worth.
“You have consistently exemplified the quality of leadership, integrity as a distinguished legal luminary, and a woman of substance. Your tireless service and dedication to uplifting the lives of those around you have set a standard for all,” the letter reads in part.
The Oba, in the letter, recognised that “the chieftaincy title of Yeye Ataiyese is not merely an honour but a testament to your relentless efforts and devotion to the betterment of our society.”
The grand occasion, which brought together friends and loved ones of Mrs. Anishere, SAN, witnessed the celebration of the rich culture and heritage of Ibodi land.
