Master mariners congratulate Adeyanju as new Deputy President of NLC
The Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM) has congratulated Comrade Adewale Adeyanju on his emergence as the new deputy president of the Nigeria Labour Congress.
Adeyanju who is the President General of the Maritime Workers of Nigeria (MWUN) was elected unopposed to emerge as deputy president of the Congress at its on-going 13th National Delegates Conference holding in the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Felicitating with Adeyanju on his new position, President of the NAMM, Captain Tajudeen Alao, said the NLC would benefit greatly from the leadership qualities of Adeyanju who has proven his mettle for labour matters.
He described Adeyanju as a labour leader with a broad heart that cares for all, a testament he said comes from those who are directly concerned.
“On behalf Nigerian Association of Master Mariners, I want to congratulate the Maritime community, and Comrade Adeyanju, on his electoral victory as Deputy President General of Nigeria Labour Congress
“No doubt, Adeyanju’s laudable track records as President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria are visible and can be felt. Those who are directly involved have said so, and we have seen it too, because a leader’s actions cannot be hidden,” Captain Alao said.
