NPA appoints Nasiru, six others as General Managers
The Nigerian Ports Authority on Thursday announced the appointment of seven General Managers including Ibrahim Nasiru, who has been promoted from Assistant General Manager to General Manager, Corporate & Strategic Communications.
Others are 10 senior staff who were announced Assistant General Managers.
According to the organization, the appointment which takes immediate effect was in line with the management’s commitment to motivate employees for service excellence.
Among the new GMs are Moltok Josephine Adar, formerly the Asst. General Manager – Overseas Office is now General Manager Servicom; Ahmad M. Umar, formerly the Asst. General Manager Accounts now General Manager Human Resources; Sheidu-Shabi Khadija Ife, formerly the Asst. General Manager Environment now General Manager MD’s Office; and Ngini Chukwuma, formerly Asst. General Manager Facility Management is now the General Manager, Lands and Asset Administration.
The formerly Asst. General Manager Finance, Odunsi Opeoluwa, becomes the new General Manager Finance; and Mohammed Shehu, formerly Asst. General Manager Procurement takes over as General Manager Tariff & Billing.
The Ag Managing Director, Mohammed Bello Koko congratulated them, adding that their appointment was a call to duty to give their best for the attainment of the vision of the NPA.
