High Chief Michael Kayode Ajayi, who was former General
Manager, Public Affairs of the Nigerian Ports (NPA) has been appointed the new
General Manager, Western Ports of the authority.

Ajayi who
was also General Manager Administration of the NPA will take over from the
former General Manager, Western Ports, NPA, Ms. Adenike Sonaike who recently
retired from the organisation.
He is a
Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and graduatge of Obafemi
Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the University of Ibadan where he bagged B.A.
(Combined Honours) in Political Science and Philosophy; and M.Sc in Public
Administration.
Ajayi who
holds three traditional titles is also the Chief Patron of Lagos Referees
Association.
He
received several awards due to his outstanding performance as GM, Public
Affairs.
