The Mission to Seafarers Lagos, (MtSL) has announced the call to glory of Mr. Dotun Makinwa, who died on Saturday 3 August, 2024, after a brief illness.
A statement signed on Thursday by MtS Secretary, Ms Funmi Folorunsho, disclosed that until his death Makinwa was the Public Relations Officer and member of the Management Committee of the Mission to Seafarers Lagos.
The statement reads in part that: “He was very useful to the association and contributed in no small measures to the actualisation of the mandates of the MTSL.
“His marks and legacies would continue to resonate for a long time as a very nice and easy going man. We just wish the departed PRO eternal rest.
“We do covert prayers for the family left behind and the association at this time of grief. It is really a difficult time.”
The burial arrangements will be announced by the family soon.
