The Nigerian Ports Authority
(NPA) has redeployed some of its port managers and appointed a new technical assistant
(administration) to the office of the managing director.
Contained in a
statement by the General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications, Mr. Adams
Jatto, the NPA said the exercise was done in its efforts to improve service
delivery.
Port Manager Lagos Port Complex (LPC),
Mrs. Aisha Ali Ibrahim,
has been moved to the headquarters as Asst. General Manager Operations, while
Mrs. Bolanle Funmilayo, Port
Manager Calabar Port, takes over as Port Manager
of LPC.
Rivers Port Complex, Umar
Abubakar Garba, is the new Port Manager
TCIP, while Simon Okeke remains Port
Manager, Delta Ports.
Asien Marie Ehemeiri replaces Mrs Olotu as the new Port Manager for Calabar
Port, while Engr. Akporherhe Emmanuel moves to Corporate Headquarters as
Principal Manager Safety.
retains his position as Port Manager Onne Port, as Engr.
Yunusa Ibrahim Anji Principal Manager Environment moves to Rivers Port as the
new Port Manager.
new Technical Assistant (Administration) to the Managing Director. He takes
over from Musa Shehu Yaro,
who moves to Procurement Division as Assistant General Manager.
Hadiza Bala Usman charged the new appointees to rise
up to any challenge in their respective roles as the Authority is poised to
deliver on its mandate to facilitate international trade in a safe and secure
environment.
