Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent
National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Wednesday presented a certificate of return
to Muhammadu Buhari, who was declared winner of the 2019 Presidential election
that held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019.

Buhari, who ran for the Office of the President under
the All Progressives Congress(APC) won in 19 states of the nation’s 36 state.
Buhari polled a total of 15,191,847 votes ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)
candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who won in 17 states and the Federal Capital
Territory (FCT)polling 11, 262, 978 votes.
Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was also presented with
a certificate of return as Vice President-elect at the International Conference
Centre, (ICC) Abuja venue of the ceremony.

Meanwhile, the PDP has kicked against the
