Comptroller Olomu joins NDLEA in walk against drug abuse, trafficking

The Customs Area Controller (CAC) in Apapa, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, Ph.D., on Tuesday joined the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in a Walk Against Drugs in Commemoration of 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

The CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse.

The Customs boss noted that such collaboration between sister agencies of government was crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.

He further noted that by working together, security agencies could achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.
