“Create special maritime office” Master mariners tell Tinubu administration

The Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM) has tasked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration on the creating of a special maritime office, in order to pay quality attention to maritime sector.

President of the Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM), Captain Tajudeen Alao, in a message congratulating the new presient, tasked the administration thus, “We are respectfully requesting the new administration to pay special attention to Maritime by creating a dynamic Maritime office under the Transport Commission, synonymous with Board of Trade.”

Expressing hope that the slogan  ‘Renewed Hope’  would be reflected visibly in the maritime industry, the master mariners also want professional mariners to be considered as senior special advisers on maritime to Mr. President and the Transportation Minister.
