Pioneer Cadet Officers of Nautical College of Nigeria ( now Maritime Academy, Oron), onboard River Andoni, in 1980.

Among them were the Navigation Instructor, then Chief Officer Adewale Ishola, Engineer Instructor , then Second Engineer Steve Ajakaiye,  Capt Quansaha (A Ghanaian), and Chief Engineer Middleton.

Engr. Emmanuel Emesiri was then among the cadet officers.
