Dr Omogbai Omo-Eboh, the Chairman of
the Intellectual Group of the Committee, said this in an interview in Lagos.

Omo-Eboh said that previous maritime
conferences and exhibitions in the country had formed a basis strong enough to
serve as advice to the government on workable policies that could effectively
drive the industry on all fronts.

communique at the end of (the expo) as we have always done in previous

According to Omo-Eboh, Nigeria has a
pool of human resources, who are versed in the maritime sector and who have
realised how much value their inputs will bring to improve the industry.

He also said that Nigerians had the
required technical know-how, which they had acquired over time.
